  • 2020

KCST anticipated well on market developments during the pandemic in 2020 and 2022. The loungewear brand focussed on making life inside of the house more comfortable with their sustainable and high-quality tracksuits and tops from cashmere, organic cotton, and wool. The viability of a loungewear brand in a non-pandemic environment was one of the key research questions for KCST.  In the current e-commerce landscape, the reality is that even the best (new) fashion brands fail because of the lack of following a knowledge-based strategy. Entering the market has become easier for small brands, which results in numerous new competitors within the same niche every day. Marveltest has helped KCST to research and evaluate the playing field of loungewear extensively and provided insights for a high-performance strategy. Several step-by-step pieces of advice for continuation were written based on their customer's ongoing behavior. As a result there's now a decisive continuing  strategy recommendation.
